On December 14, 2019, the Students and Young Scientists Scientific Association (Syssa) of David Tvildiani medical university (DTMU) organized the VIII medical session “A.Nobel’s Day – The Future Of Medicine” in MediClub Georgia.
The session was opened by the Dean of the University - Prof. Nino Bregvadze-Tabagari. As part of the event, pediatric neurologist and epileptologist Gia Melikishvili discussed advantages of gene therapy in pediatric epilepsies.
Tinatin Kuchukhidze, representative of Georgian Medical Students Association and Ikshwaki Kaushikm talked about future plans of the Association. Students shared and informed the audience about the orthopedics, orthopedic surgery and sports medicine interest group at David Tvildiani Medical University. The best student of the year - Ana Sinauridze was awarded at the event.
At the end of the session the participants were awarded with certificates.
