The Central Scientific Research Laboratory at David Tvildiani Medical University participated in the “14th Korea International Women's Invention Exposition - KIWIE 2021” hosted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO). The competition was held virtual in Seoul, South Korea during 12. 08 – 14.08, 2021, in which scientists/inventors from DTMU were awarded the Silver Medal for the Invention – “The method for modeling of geomagnetic storms,” Georgian Patent P 6823.
The modeling of storms is performed via a unique experimental setup installed at Central Scientific Research Laboratory.
This award is the result of a long and close cooperation between the groups of scientists and inventors of the David Tvildiani Medical University and Georgian Technical University, whose members are:
Ketevan Janashia - Doctor of Medicine, Head of the Central Scientific Research Laboratory;
Levan Tvildiani - Professor, Rector of Davit Tvildiani Medical University;
Nikoloz Invia - Professor of Georgian Technical University;
Elguja Kubaneishvili - Professor at the Georgian Technical University.
